On March 29, 2017, the United Kingdom notified its intention to leave the European Union. Therefore, this State will become an independent state of the EU, to which the ex-lege European legislation will no longer apply, unless a Brexit is negotiated with agreement.
We have just learned that UE and UK reach preliminary agreement on Brexit deal.
Departure date was initially set for March 30, 2019 but this date has been extended until October 31, 2019.
What will happen to Intellectual Property rights in the United Kingdom? What should the owners of these rights do before a Brexit with or without agreement?.
