At this webinar we will address the impact of the Unitary Patent, how it will work and very importantly how is it going to cost. We will analyse the particular case of Spain who has decided no to participate in the scheme.
Expected to come into force at the beginning of 2017, The Unitary Patent will be a special form of European patent. Granted by the EPO under the rules and procedures of the European Patent Convention, the Unitary Patent System will only be valid within the EU Members States. It will co-exist with national patents and with classical European patents.
