Enrique Astiz, Industrial Property Agent, Consultant at Clarke, Modet & Cº, President of the Spanish Association of Industrial Property Agents will participate in the EPO Patent Information Conference as speaker, the biggest event in Europe for patent searchers.
With increasing interest in patent information from Latin America, patent searchers are frequently finding that they need to understand two aspects: Firstly, patent prosecution in the main Latin American countries (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Brazil and Venezuela), specifically: the current situation in patent filing in the studied countries and statistics; prosecution and enforcement highlights in the studied countries; the Andean Pact; some legislative and prosecutions news from the studied countries. Secondly, the main differences between the patent regulations in the studied countries compared with the European regulations.
