Google loses trademark case

A German court passed a judgment ordering YouTube, owned by Google, to avoid that users publish material which violates intellectual property laws once warned on a particular content, as informed by Reuters. A spokesman of Google in Germany stated that YouTube has the necessary technology to add a fingerprint, but it needs the help of right holders to connect such technology with the protected works.
