Nahanny Canal

Group Chief Operations Officer
19 years of professional experience in the Intellectual Property area in specialized firms, as well as Patent Director in the Mexican Intellectual Property Institute (IMPI). Specialization in Patents, Utility Models, Industrial Designs and Plant Varieties. Participation in the negotiations of the IP chapters in various international treaties, such as CPTPP, TMEC and TLCUEM. During 2015 and 2016, vice president of the Permanent Committee on Patent Law before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). She has represented Mexico in national and international forums, such as the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). She teaches courses in Associations, universities, etc.

Bachelors degree in Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico
