Tania López

Inventions Prosecution Manager
She has more than 6 years of experience providing advice on patent matters in the field of intellectual property, especially in technologies related to life sciences. She has been a Technical Patent Consultant in charge of substantive procedures of patent applications in Mexico and the rest of the Latin America. She also has considerable experience in technical and bibliographic patent searches, and in analysing technological position and patent activity, technical opinions in infringement and/or invalidity opinions, patentability analysis and in general, the construction of strategies using patent information. She graduated from the Technological Institute of Morelia and the Northwestern Centre of Biological Research in Mexico. Tania has participated in various research projects related to the conservation and sustainable exploitation of Mexican endemic vegetable and animal species, such as Agave tequila Weber blue variety and Mycteroperca rosacea. Since 2010, Tania continued her career in the Technology Intelligence Unit and the Patent Department at ClarkeModet Mexico.
