Pharma Protection and enforcement in Mexico. Spotlight: Patent Linkage System

This seminar will be covering the general aspects of pharmaceutical related patent prosecution and the observance of rights thereof in Mexico. Mexico represents a very attractive and large market to pursue pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products patent protection; however keeping in mind the overall patent requirements and most important, the local exceptions for patentability and non-statutory matter of protection, their particular criteria and legal basis is critical in order to assure the desired technology protection in Mexico. The seminar will also cover the evolution of the Inter-Authority Patent Linkage system, strategic guidelines of use, current state and practice as well as expectations for improvements of the Patent Linkage system in Mexico.
